617,601. Display boxes. GOLDBERT, M. L. Aug. 23, 1945, No. 21652. [Class 18] When a display box 10 for cigarettes or other articles is turned upside down, a weight 24 descends and being connected by links 70, 44, to a pivoted lid 64 and to a supporting carriage 18 for the contents, withdraws the contents into the box and closes the lid. When the box is again placed on its base, the lid opens and the carriage rises towards the mouth of the box. An interior wall 12 divides the box into separate compartments for weight and tray. The articles are firmly held on the tray, as in recesses 20, so that they shall not drop against the cover.
