Abstract

617,486. Tunnel kiln trucks. AKT.-GES. BROWN, BOVERI, & CIE. Oct. 3, 1946, No. 29480. Convention date, Oct. 3, 1945. [Class 51 (ii)] In tunnel kiln trucks 11 formed with side plates 15 dipping into sand troughs 16 and having soft sealing elements 14 of asbestos cord or the like, said sealing elements are extended between adjacent plates 15 to dip into the troughs. The side plates are tapered downwardly and may consist of double walled elements enclosing the sealing element at one end or may be solid plates with a recess at one end, ,in either case the adjacent end being a flat surface against which the seal is pressed.
