[Classes 38 (i) and 53] A device for attachment to an accumulator terminal to enable a cable to be connected at a point remote from the gas vent consists of a metal plate a having a hole d at one end for receiving the accumulator terminal which may be soldered to the plate. The other end of the plate carries a lug c to which the cable is connected by means of a coupling l shown in Fig. 3. The plate a has a foot b which rests on the top of the accumulator.
