616,994. Handles of saucepans &c. BIRMING- HAM ALUMINIUM CASTING (1903) CO., Ltd., and FAIRBAIRN, H. W. Sept. 28, 1946, No. 29026. [Class 66] A metal sleeve 8 which may be of elliptical or hexagonal section is fitted on heat-insulating bushes 5, 6, one at each end, and the assembly held together to form a heat-insulated handle by a stem 1 screwed into a boss 3 on a saucepan &c. 4. The stem 1 may be held against rotation by bending extensions on a conical washer into a slot in the stem-head 2.
