Abstract

616,433. Bracelets. FAVRE, A. PEVSNERE-. Aug. 30, 1946, No. 26218. Convention date, Sept. 1, 1945. [Class 43] In an expanding bracelet of the lazy-tong type the lower links 10, formed from longitudinally folded sheet material, each have three pairs of integral upstanding lugs 12 which are received in three openings 15 in the plates forming the upper links 11, the free ends of the two pairs of lugs at the ends of each lower link being bent over the edges of their corresponding openings 15 to interconnect the links, and a spring 21 for contracting the bracelet being mounted within each upper link 11 with one end attached to the third or middle pair of lugs and its other end bearing against the bent ends of an end pair of lugs. An ornamental cover 16 has projections on its sides for engaging in grooves formed in the sides of each upper link 11.
