615,939. Safety razors. PIEPER, P. July 30, 1946, No. 22619. Convention date, Aug. 23, 1945. [Class 30] In a safety razor of the kind in which a handle 7, Fig. 1, screws on to a stud 2 provided on an arcuate cover plate 1 so as to clamp a flexible blade between the correspondingly curved opposing surfaces 6 and 5 of the cover plate and a guard plate 4, the handle 1 has a spherically curved end for engagement with a similarly curved recess 9 to permit adjustment of the guard and cover plates when the parts are being screwed together. The cover plate is provided with locating pins 3, Fig. 5, which in order to prevent water reaching the blade engage closed apertures 10, Fig. 4, in the guard plate.
