[Class 18] A magazine from which razor blades are dispensed at one end only comprises a casing 20, a block 10 therein holding a store of blades 13, a slidable feeder 24 and shims or spacers 15 arranged between the blades to shield the rear end of an underlying blade from the feeder until the spacer and the blade above it have been removed. In the arrangement shown the blades and spacers 2 are ejected from opposite ends of the magazine by forward and return movements respectively of the feeder 24 whose stroke is limited in each direction by lugs 23 on the inturned casing flanges 21, 22 on which the feeder slides, the blades being pressed upwardly by a forked bar spring 16. The shims or spacers are of bifurcated form and may be made of sheet, plate or strip material or of bent wire, Fig. 8. The blades and spacers are stacked on a block 10 having a blade locating rib 11 and a spacer locating stud 12 of which the former also engages the forward ends of the spacers to prevent their rotation. The stud 12 is curved at the top on each side of a short medial rib which is in alignment with the rib 11 and guides the spacers in movement off the stud. The magazine may be constructed to be fitted to a razor as described in Specifications 572,583. 572,596, [both in Group XIV], and 609,316. Specification 572,579 also is referred to.
