[Class 136 (iii)] In a bicycle of the kind having a supplementary seat pillar 8 behind the usual pillar 18 and means for transferring the drive from rear cranks 32 to the front wheel crank axle and then back to the rear wheel, the back wheel 21 is smaller than the front wheel 25 and the upper part of the stay 23 connecting the rear pillar with the front crank bracket is curved to the shape of the rear wheel and passes through the forked stay 22 connecting the front seat pillar with the back crank bracket in order that the bicycle can be easily straddled. The supplementary saddle 1 and pillar 8 can be removed by loosening the bolts 9. The front upper tube 17 is curved downwardly and a forked horizontal tubular member 20 connects the crank axle bracket 16 to the rear axle bracket 4. The crank axle 28 besides the ordinary drive from the cranks 29 is driven by the chain 30 from the sprocket wheel 31 rotated by cranks 32 detachably fixed to the rear crank axle 33. In a modification the tube 17 may be lowered by attaching it to the lower end of the front bracket 12 and it may be replaced by two parallel members which may be extended to connect with the rear axle bracket.
