608,616. Clothes pegs. PAINTER, J. F. Dec. 11, 1945, No. 26391. [Class 44] A clothes peg comprises members a and b hinged at c, the member a having a recess into which an enlarged portion b<1> of the member b projects in the closed position to grip the clothes. The enlarged portion bl has an aperture d through which the line is permanently threaded, slipping being prevented by a spring e. The members may be formed of rustless metal, preferably by die-casting, or of synthetic resin.
