Abstract
Particles of ground limestone or ground gypsum of a crystalline structure treated with raw or refined wool-grease is suitable for use in dust-laying in collieries to combat explosions. Specifications 334,857, [Class 83 (i)], and 370,878 are referred to.ALSO:Gypsum or limestone is ground to fine particles in the presence of raw or refined wool-grease. The wool-grease also renders the ground particles water-repellent and suitable for use as foundry parting powders, for "stone-dusting" of collieries to combat explosions or as the non-adhesive coating of "tacky" bituminous and similar roofing felt. Specifications 334,857, [Class 83(i)], and 370,878, are referred to.
