603,295. Bottle &c. closures. BUTLER, G. I. April 5, 1945, No. 8441. [Class 125(iii)] A closure for jars, glasses, bowls, tubs, cans and like containers comprises a sheet of thin flexible material 13 secured either around the opening 12 in the container 11, Fig. 2, or within such opening, Fig. 6, by a hollow tapered open-ended member 14 of fibrous resilient material. The member 14 may be of circular or polygonal crosssection.
