[Classes 52(iii) and 52(v)] [Also in Groups XXIV and XXV] A releasable fastening for two relatively slidable or rotatably adjustable co-axial tubular members 15, 16 consists of a resilient arm 11 housed within the inner member 15 and bent to provide a stop 14 and a part 13 which frictionally presses against the outer member 16. In the display stand shown in Fig. 6, the two members are arranged for relative slidable adjustment, the stop 14 selectively engaging spaced apertures 17 on the outer member 16. In the lay figure shown in Fig. 1, the members are arranged for relative rotation, the stop 14 engaging behind one end of the outer member.
