Abstract

600,863. Handles for hollow-ware. LEER, W. VAN. Oct. 8, 1945, No. 26222. [Class 66] A handle for hollow-ware comprises a metal loop 4 with a heat-insulating grip 5 which may be tapered. The handle may be detachable as described in Specification 599,292. Co-operating notches and pips are provided on the frame and grip. A handle for a lid 2 has a U-shaped frame 9 notched at 17 and its grip 12 has pips 16. Another form of side-handle has a channel-shaped grip 23 embracing part 20 of the frame.
