[Class 83 (iv)] A reciprocating-blade shearing-machine has a driving motor and upper blade with associated mechanism removable as a unit from the framing. The electromotor 7 is secured to a framing 4 containing the upper blade 5 and driving mechanism and is detachably secured to an enclosed framing 1. The electromotor may reciprocate the blade 5 through crank linkage or by toggle mechanism, Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown).
