[Class 65 (i)] Jointed-folding stays are formed with the middle portion of at least one of the arms inclined to the plane in which the folding movement takes place, so that this portion moves in a cone and thus conforms to the natural movement of the hand gripping it, to avoid distorting stresses being applied to the stay.
