Abstract

591,775. Thread guides. MASCHINENFABRIK SCHWEITER AKT.-GES. July 13, 1944, No. 13407. Convention date, July 14, 1943. [Class 120 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXX and XXXIV] A thread guide for textile machines consists of a roller 1 which forms the outer race of a ball bearing, and side flanges 6 7 secured by a bolt 5 and arranged to protect the inne: part from dust and down. Thread catching beaks 13, 14 are pro vided on the flanges 6, 7. The correct position of the flanges is determined by noses 16, 17. A guide wire 9 fastened to the bolt 5 is held in position by the beak 13 and a nose 18 on the flange 6.
