Abstract
591,695. Photographic cameras. AVIMO, Ltd., and STEVENS, H. C. M. May 4, 1945, No. 11396. [Class 98 (i)] A time record is imposed on a light-sensitive film, which is traversed at a uniform rate past the exposure aperture of a camera, by enclosing in the main objective housing of the camera (1) a holder or holders supporting one more neon or other gas discharge lamps adapted to be excited by alternatmg current of known frequency, (2) a graticule associated with the or each lamp, and (3) optical means for projecting an image of the graticule on the film. As shown, an extension b of the objective housing a encloses a holder supporting the discharge lamp c, between which and the film exposure gate g is a passage d enclosing a graticule e and optical means f for projecting a row of images of the graticule upon the film moving past the aperture g. The lampgraticule arrangement may be duplicated to give two such rows of images.
