Abstract
588,489. Concrete posts. HALL, L. J. Feb. 22, 1945, No. 4507. [Class 45] Reinforced concrete posts, such as for a gate, are cast in pairs A, B with an integral cross connecting bar C. The bar C may extend beyond the posts at each side, and may be at the ground level, as shown or may connect the bottom ends of the posts. In the latter case an inclined integral strut additionally connects each post to the bar C. At the bottoms of the posts feet F extend at right angles, either both in the same direction, or one forward and one backward.
