[Class 122 (i)] In a piston comprising a head 10 and depending skirt 14 slotted as at 17, 18, a ring 20, extruding peripherally of the piston between the head and skirt, controls expansion of the latter. The piston may be of aluminium and tb6 rim of steel or other ferrous metal.
