582,203. Panoramic receivers. DODDS, J. M., WHALLEY, H., and METROPOLITAN-VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. Sept. 8, 1941, No. 10144. [Class 40 (v)] In a panoramic receiver, the cathode-ray tube has a plurality of scales, one for each wave band to be scanned, and graduated in accordance with the respective frequency laws of the different wave bands, the scales being spaced apart on the end of the cathode-ray tube, while means are provided for moving the luminous tune base so as to selectively cooperate as desired with the different scales.
