579,431. Hedge cutters. BEACH. R. H. March 28, 1944, No. 5718. Convention date, March 23, 1943. [Class 131] A hedge cutter comprises two discs 2, 4 held together by, and oscillatable about, a pivot bolt 10, the discs 2, 4 being provided at a portion of their peripheries with teeth 18 curved and disposed as shown so as to embrace the twig &c. to be cut. The discs 2, 4 are pressed together by spring discs 24, 26 which may be separate from or integral with the discs 2, 4. Each of the discs 2, 4 is provided with an operating handle 6, 8.
