Abstract
579,265. Tea and coffee pots. FLOOD, H. G. Sept. 15, 1944, No. 17712. [Class 64 (ii)] [Also in Groups VI and XVII] The pot has container 16 formed by walls 1, 2 between which a partial vacuum exists, and outer parts 7, 8, preferably screwed together, and formed of synthetic resin or other plastic material. Parts of soft material 12, 13, 11 are positioned as shown. A strainer or infuser 15 may be integral with the lid 14. The spout may be separate from the main body 8. The parts 1, 2 are first made separately, the outer then cut at 3 and 1 inserted and the two sealed together at 4. The edge 5 is then formed by sealing 1 and 2 together, thus forming a second aperture. The parts are then sealed at 3, the complete double vessel is then preferably provided with a deposit of silver, evacuated and sealed off at 6.
