574,039. Transformer arrangements. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Dec. 21, 1943, No. 21399. Convention date, Dec. 26, 1942. [Class 38 (iv)] In order that a balanced three-phase load may be efficiently supplied through two V- connected transformers 7, 8 and 9, 10 from a three-phase supply, an inductance 11 which balances the leakage inductance of each of the windings 8, 10 is connected between the line 6 and the vertex of the V. The windings 8, 10 may be the primary or secondary windings of the transformers. In a modified arrangement, the inductance 11 is divided between the primary and secondary sides of the supply.
