[Class 103 (v)] Means for coupling a trailer to the rear part of a bicycle or the like and providing for universal movements between the two, comprises a plurality of rigid and pivotally-connected elements, one of which is provided with flexible means such as a chain 22 for attachment to a part such as a saddle pillar 23. The chain 22 is pivoted'at 21 to a bar 20 carrying a laterally-placed lug 25 to which is secured by a nut 26 a threaded rod 24 on the end of the chain 22. The end of the bar 20 is curved to fit the pillar and is formed with serrations 27. The outer end of the bar 20 carries on a horizontal pivot an element 31 which is pivoted by a vertical pivot 34 to a member 33 mounted by a spigot 35 in a ball-bearing mounting in a part 36 secured to a cross-bar on a trailer. Specification 559,609 is referred to.
