572,347. Conditioning air. SAWKINS, W, Nov. 15, 1943, No.. 18989. [Class 137] [Also in Group XII] Air-conditioning apparatus comprises a mist cham. ber 7 through which air entering the cabinet through a mesh-covered floor opening 10 is drawn by a fan 9 at right angles to the direction of movement of liquid, e.g., disinfectant thrown up by discs 17 rapidly rotating ir contact with liquid in a container 15. The mist chamber front and rear walls comprise spaced perforated plates 13 which retain excess moisture. The air is discharged through a conduit 21 past resistance heating elements 23 and louvres 24 across an opening in the cabinet top. Specification 480,512 is referred to.
