Abstract
571,760. Sheet roofing of metal &c. TURNERS ASBESTOS CEMENT CO., Ltd., and ASHMAN, H. W. Nov. 2, 1943, No. 18153 [Classes 20 (ii) and 20 (iv)] A flat and approximately level roof is provided with a double covering the lower one comprising sheets overlapped at the edges and having valleys 8 separated by inverted troughs 6 having flutes 7 on which the upper sheets are supported and lesser rolls 9 through which bolts 10 for securing the sheets are passed. The upper sheets are overlapped at points below the end joints of the lower ones and transverse water channels 20 may be provided in the lower sheets at these points, Fig. 7. The under surfaces of the valleys in the lower sheet lie all in the same plane.
