Abstract

571,208. Alloys. CLAVEL, A. Sept. 30, 1942, No. 13730. Convention date, Oct. 2, 1941. [Class 82 (i)] Solder for aluminium articles, with which fluxes are unnecessary, consists of 30-45 per cent tin, 35-50 per cent cadmium, and 5-20 per dent silver. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 states that the solder consists of tin, cadmium and silver, preferably in the proportion of 22-46 per cent tin, 20-50 per cent cadmium, and 10-20 per cent silver. This subject-matter, except as set forth in the preceding paragraph, does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
