569,181. Sharpening razor blades. NASHASHIBI, I. B. Nov. 4,1943, No. 18316. Convention date, Nov. 30, 1942. [Class 60] A device for honing safety razor blades comprises a receptacle adapted for the accommodation of shaving utensils, for example, a brush, a razor, blades and soap, and having a part of its wall curved to a radius of 75 to 85 mm. As shown, the receptacle has two such curved walls 1 united by flat ends 2, the depth of the walls being slightly greater than the length of an ordinary blade ; in use the blade is pressed on to the curved surface and moved to and fro thereover. In modifications, the flat ends are replaced by rounded ends, the two curved walls may intersect at their ends, or one curved wall only may be used, the opposite wall being flat. A cover 3 may be provided.
