568, 687. Temperature - responsive devices. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Oct. 15, 1943, No. 16938. Convention date, Oct. 17, 1942. [Class 97 (iii)] A temperature responsive device, suitable for insertion inside the windings 11 of an electric transformer, comprises a bulb and tube 12, 13 of a flexible insulating material such as rubber which conforms to the contour of the coils, connected to a suitable indicating or contact making device which is actuated by the expansible fluid in the bulb. In Fig. 5, the tube 13 is connected to a capsule 19, 20 of similar material, the movement of the disc 19 being used to actuate a pointer 26.
