[Class 11] In a device for landscape sketching, a sighting - member 8 and a pencil - carrying member 12 are pivoted for vertical movement on a support 6, which can turn about a vertical axis, the members 8, 12 being connected by a link 14 and counterbalanced by a spring 15. The sighting-member 8 has an eyepiece 10 and a foresight 9. The pencil is outwardly spring- pressed and moves over paper carried by a member 16, which is formed as part of the surface of a cylinder.
