565,525. Clamping rings for drum &c. closures. METAL CONTAINERS, Ltd., and FRICKEL, G. M. May 8, 1943, No. 7318. [Class 21] A clamping ring 1 adapted to embrace projecting flanges of a drum &c. and its closure, has a hand lever 6 pivoted at 5 to one end of the ring and at 9 to a link 8 which is itself pivoted at 10 to the other end of the ring, the position of pin 10 being adjustable by a screw 14. Specification 548,851 is referred to.
