Abstract
564,525. Furniture frames. NORWOOD, J., and COOPER, W. J. April 29, 1943, No. 6755. [Class 52 (ii)] A framework for an upholstered settee, chair, &c. comprises one unit, Fig. 2, which includes the seat and arms, and another unit, Fig. 4, forming the back, the upholstery being applied to these units separately, after which the units are secured together. Tacking strips of wood or plastic are attached to the frames, The plates 11 strengthen the unit, and also hold the castors. The back is secured to the seat and arm unit by bolts in the matching holes 13, 17 and 14, 16.
