[Class 9 (ii)] A seal for a pyrotechnic device such as a cartridge or, as shown, a rocket, comprises a disc 3 of " Bakelised " paper secured to the choke 2 by shellac and a ring 4 of " Bakelised " millboard or cardboard, the ring being secured to the disc and to the casing 1 by shellac. The surfaces 5 may be painted.
