[Class 117] In centrifugal reels, the stock is delivered to the interior of the reel by pockets e carried by the shaft a of the beaters b. The stock is fed by a spout d which communicates with the pockets through the end of the sieve frame c, so that stoppage of the beaters only interrupts the feed. The bottom of the pockets may be formed by a sleeve h on the sieve frame, or by an extension of the boss g by which the pockets are secured to the shaft b.
