Abstract

563,771. Electric lamp fittings. THORPE, Ltd., F. W., and THORPE, F. W. Feb. 18, 1943, No. 2698. [Class 75 (ii)] A reflector 6 having a vitreous enamelled lower surface is secured to a tubular neck 1 enclosing the lamp holder by screws 11 passing vertically through holes 4 in a skirting 2 at the base of the neck 1 into blocks 9 secured by screws 15 in radial gaps in a carrier ring 8 which is rigidly secured by bearing 13 and spotwelding 14 above the crown of the reflector so as to be invisible from below the reflector. Alternatively, the ring 8 may be secured to the skirting 2 by screw bolts and wing nuts.
