Abstract

562,927. Boxes. HARKER & CO., Ltd., J. W., HAWKINS, L. W., and PEAGAM, B. J. Feb. 25, 1943, No. 3084. [Class 18] A box lid 5 is strengthed by a band 1 extending across it and bent downwardly substantially 'at right angles at the ends to form projections engaging two opposite edges of the lid, the end of one or each projection being turned upwards substantially parallel to the projection for the reception of a fastening member or catch, e.g. such as that described in Specification 553,148, [Group XXV]. Countersunk holes may be provided for securing the band to the lid. Specification 8071/03, [Class 44], also is referred to.
