Abstract

561,581. Tank vehicles. DEWHIRST, S. A. March 10, 1943, No. 3884. [Class 108 (i)] The tank, Fig. 1, is supported at each end by a pair of links 5, inclined from the lower end upwardly and inwardly and pivoted at their lower ends to a tank support 2 and at their upper ends to a channel-shaped member 3 mounted on the chassis 4. A central tank support is pivoted about a vertical axis. In the construction shown in Fig. 2, the similarly inclined links 5 are pivoted to tank supports 2 at their upper ends and at their lower ends to members 3<1> mounted on the chassis.
