560,964. Roofs. HAY, H. M. Nov. 26, 1942, No. 16758. [Class 20 (iv)] Laths b supporting roofing boards c are supported on purlins a by plates or bars f resting on and straddling the purlins and engaging the laths at their ends. The plates or bars may be bent to engage the edges of the purlins. The ends of the plates may be slotted to receive webs on the laths or the plates and laths may be secured together by bolts. The ends of the bars enter hollow webs or spaced flanges formed on the laths.
