Abstract

558,041. Cycle stands. MIDDLETON & CO. (BLACKPOOL), Ltd., and MIDDLETON, A. June 24, 1942, No. 8677. [Class 136 (i)] A cycle stand 1 of concrete, preferably reinforced, has vertical end walls 2, 4, inwardly sloping side walls 7, and a top made up of an inclined part 3 and a level part 5. A slot 7, with a curved base to receive part of a road wheel, is formed in the slope 3 and extends into the wall 4 and part 5. Openings 8 in the walls 6 enable the stand to be moved.
