553,206. Reciprocating motors. TRAVIS, G. F., ASHTON, H. T., and METROPOLITANVICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. Nov. 6, 1941, No. 14331. Addition to 548,124, [Group XVII]. [Class 35] [Also in Group XVII] Apparatus for making sheathed or encased cores of comminuted material as in the parent Specification has two solenoid coils 12, 13 cooperating with a magnetic part of a tamper 24 to vibrate it continuously, the coils being in series or shunt with rectifiers 31, 33 acting in opposite senses to energize the coils alternately in each cycle of an A.C, energizing current.
