Abstract

553,149. Spraying devices. MEABY, A. J. June 5, 1942, No. 7650. [Class 102 (iii)] A spraying device for perfumes, medical inhalents, and like liquids comprises a cylindrical container a with a spring- urged plunger g and an end wall b with an aperture m the flow through which is controlled by valve means operated by a revoluble nosepiece l having an oblique smalldiameter conduit n connecting the valve means to a diffuser p. The container a is formed with an observation window n. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the end n<SP>1</SP> of the conduit n is moved into and out of register with an eccentric aperture m and an aperture in a washer o. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the washer is dispensed with and a conical projection t on the nosepiece engages in a correspondingly shaped seating s in the end wall b.
