552,401. Supply fittings; valves. McKENDRICK, C. Oct.. 2, 1941, No. 12765. [Class 26] [Also in Group XXIX] In a combined hot and cold water spray and shampoo fitting provided with only one outlet 25 leading to a spraying device, a T-shaped casing 10 comprises a head part 11 having at one end a cold water stop valve 16 connected to a supply pipe 18 and at the other end a hot water stop valve 17 connected to a supply pipe 19, and a stem 12 divided by a partition 13 into a cold water compartment 14 and a hot water compartment 15. The end of the stem 12 is closed by a plate or plug 20 provided on the hot water side with an aperture 21 and on the other side with a pipe 22 of small bore extending througli a pipe or tube 23 into a branch outlet 25 for connection a to spraying device or shower rose. The ends of the partition 13 are provided with curved fillets 26 to direct the water from the valves 16, 17 into the parts 14, 15 respectively. Specification 538,089 is referred to.
