552,235. Driving chains. MORSE CHAIN CO., and STEVENS. A. H. (Morse Chain Co.). Feb. 11, 1942, No 1835. Addition to 530,186. [Class 24] In roller chains as described in the parent Specification, the lubricating grooves 26, on the exterior of the bushing 18 extend from a point intermediate of its length. The length of the grooves is greater than the thickness of the bushing link side plates and preferably at least 20 per cent. of the total length of the bushing. Radial grooves may be formed on the ends of the bushing in communication with the longitudinal grooves.
