Abstract
551,805. Collapsable cartons. WATERLOW & SONS, Ltd., and HALL, V. B. Oct. 31, 1941, No. 14033. [Class 18] A collapsable carton of carboard, pasteboard &c. for tubes, bottles &c. is constructed with two or more. inner walls 7a, 8a spaced from the outer walls and each provided with two rows of recesses or apertures for two rows of tubes &c. access to each of which can be had independently. Panels 1, 2, 3, 4 form the body secured by tongues and slots b, a panel is folded into contact with panel 1 and panel 7a is arranged parallel to panel 2 and is secured by a tongue entering a slit so that the tongue lies beneath panel 7b. Panel 8a is similarly disposed on the opposite face of the carton. Lids 11 engage by tongues 11c with slits. Each wall 7a, 8a may be doubled. The box may also be maintained erect by wire, adhesive &c. when the carton walls would hinge about the folding lines so that panels 3, 4 are superposed on panels 1, 2. The partitions may be separate from the main blank and secured by glue &c. thereto.
