Abstract
550,767. Actuation of switches. HONEYWELLBROWN, Ltd. Feb. 16, 1942, No. 2071. Convention date, April 3, 1941. [Class 38 (v)] A rod 25 carrying a contact 35 is actuated by the difference in pressure in the two chambers at its ends so as to engage or disengage one or more fixed contacts 50. The contacts are all in one of the chambers to which liquid at greater than atmospheric pressure is admitted through a passage 22. Liquid is admitted to the other chamber through a passage 18. A spring 41 also biases the rod 25 and the contact 35 may be self aligning and biased by a spring 31. Specification 495,930 is referred to.
