546,133. Fastenings. DUNDAS, Ltd., R. K., and PARKER, T. B. Feb. 18, 1941, No. 2210. [Class 44] In a stud and socket fastening, the socket consists of a strip of resilient material 3 such as rubber, with a slit through which the stud 4 is forced. The socket is secured to the material 1 by a plate 6 with legs 7 which are forced through the material and bent inwards. A washer 8 may be placed between 1 and 7. The stud may be riveted to a plate 10 similarly secured to the other sheet 2 to be fastened.
