545,572. Washing crockery. RICHARDS, R. H. June 6, 1941; No. 12314/40. [Class 91] Crockery is washed in a mechanical dish washing machine at a temperature between 195‹ F. and 200‹ F. with an aqueous solution of a detergent comprising six parts by weight of an oxidizing agent such as perborate or percarbonate of soda, 2 parts by weight of a sulphonated fatty alcohol and 90 parts by weight of an alkaline detergent such as soda ash, silicate of soda or trisodium, phosphate. After the above treatment the crockery is rinsed in cold water and allowed to dry. Specifications 435,465, 435,861 and 438,063 are referred to.
