[Class 52 (ii)] The angle-iron corner of the mattress frames B<1> of single or multi-tier bunks are supported on angle-iron uprights A by engaging the vertical side flange b<2> of the mattress frame between the upright A and a cranked plate C attached to the upright, a slot b<3> in the side flange passing over a clamping bolt D, and one side b<4> of the slot b<3> being inclined so as to wedge the mattress frame against the upright.
