[Class 31 (i)] A leather &c. splitting machine comprises feed rollers 4, 7 and a splitting knife 8 mounted in a slide 12 reciprocated transversely to the direction of feed of the leather &c. by an eccentric 23 on the shaft 22, link 25, bell-crank lever 27, 28 and connecting rod 32.
