[Class 53] In accumulator electrodes of the kind claimed in Specification 502,959, having a conductive stem surrounded by annular conductors f spaced by annular separators g, the space between the stem and the annular members being filled with active material h, the stem is formed of two or more parallel strips a, b, c connected by integral webs or other transverse pieces d, e. The faces of the annular members may be grooved radially and the separators may be porous. The electrodes may be used in acid or alkaline accumulators.
